The courts of Palakkad have a history which dates back to the 19th century. The courts of this centre started functioning in the present building on 26-03-1959.The Hon'ble Mr.Justice U.L.Bhut, Hon'ble Mr.Justice B.M.Thulasidas, Hon'ble Mr.Justice T.Ramachandran, Hon'ble Mr.Justice S.Krishnan Unni, Hon'ble Mrs Justice K.Hema, Hon'ble Mr.Justice M.L.Joseph Francis, Hon'ble Mr.Justice M.N.Krishnan and Hon'ble Mr.Justice A.Hariprasad have presided over various Courts of Palakkad District Centre.
